How do i cash my paycheck???

Question

i went to wal mart to try and cash my paycheck for the first time there, but they said i needed like proof of my adress like a bill sent to my name. but i dont get bills so i asked if i can bring my dad's with our adress but she said no.

i forgot her exact words but she said something about asking my dad to put it in his bank account or something like that. like transfer it to his account or something.

can someone tell me how to do it.

You should take your paycheck, and open up your own bank account.  If you are a minor (under 18), then you can open an account, and have your parents sign off on it.  In any case, after you open your account, then you can cash your check at your bank, or set up direct-deposit, which is when your employer automatically deposits your money into your account without you having to do anything.  Check into it.  Good luck.

Banks have to cash the checks written on them.  Look on the check for the name of the bank.  Go there with your id and cash it.

you can deposit it in ur own bank account, and if the check is also from ur own bank, i believe u can also get the cash rite after u deposit it.  if you dont have one, sign ur name on the back of the check, and hav eur dad sign his as well.  i believe u can deposit it in ur dad's account.

um, look into getting a bank account. Or get your dad ot take your check to his bank.
