How do i change avator?

click "messenger' menu after sign in>> click "my display image>>click "share my avatar">>click "customize"

in the avatar page create and design your avatar with appareal,extras,back ground as you like

click "save my avatar" or somrthing like that below it

now you 'll see it in display image dialog

click ok

click "my profile" on the top right of Yahoo! Answers page

click "edit my info"

click to check  

click to check "use my Yahoo! Avatar"

click "preview" and then "ok"

Go to your profile, click "edit my info", set up a 360° page, load up a pic (it has to be a .jpg, preferrably 48x48 pixels), mark "set as primary", save it and you're done! If you prefer a Yahoo Avatar, those steps are explained too once you click "edit my info".
