how do i get the pic in black and white and a part in color...

Well you probably don't have photoshop, so you can use www.picnik.com

There you can change your photo to b&w and then erase w/e you want to be in color!

in photshop It's all in the layers. Create a layer from the background. Go to effects and turn that layer black and white. Then Choose your eraser and erase the part that you want colored. You are actually erasing the black and white layer in parts and the color layer below is showing through.

Easy. If you have photoshop or something like it, use the selection tool and outline what you want to keep in color, then desaturate the other part.
