How do i find the recycling bin on my computer? It was on the desktop and i accidentally did something to it and now its not there :( and i need to empty it because lets just say there are somethings my mom doesn't really need to see :P

open any folder click search then click all files and folders make sure the look in directory is my computer if not change it to it and search

maybe you have put another icon on top of it!

type without quotes, "Recycle Bin" at the top of the url bar. Or download CCleaner to delete your history, Recycle Bin, and a bunch of other stuff your mom can use to tell you have been to naughty sites. And next time, hit shift and hit the delete key to make sure it gets deleted permanently, not to the recycle bin.

Just right click on the desktop and select VIEW-> Show desktop icons. this will display the recycle bin. If that doesn't solve it, u must be a genius to have managed to make it disappear. Go to you my computer, some drive. then go to tools->folder options. Select the show hidden files and show hidden system files. say yes to everything it asks for. then the $RECYCLE.BIN will be present on your drive. go inside and select the recycle bin and go forth to empty it. In case you are not using vista , a similar folder with recycle bin will appear once you have changed the settings. Go forth and delete your contents. make sure to delete the file in the appropriate directory. C:\ recycle bin has c: files and d: has its own...so make sure to select the drive where your file was.

it erases everything in your recycle bin and visited webpages

it would also help not to look at stuff like that, or know what and how you wil cover you tracks if you choose to do so.

Liar, the recycle is impossible to delete

u know when u open my computer on the address bar is written " computer" in vista and "my computer" in xp. just click on it and write " recycle bin" becuase i am not using windows xp have a look at the control panel u could find recycle bin there but it wasnt in vista hope i helped but i m definitely sure about the first method

Ok. go to the start menu, and click browse. it will give you a typing box. Search for Recycling bin, and it will give you a list of what it found. hope this helps.

It could be on " My Computer" ...
