How do i get flexible?

im taking dance and i need to be flexible...

can some body help me?

like wat type of food should i eat and wat kind of streches i can do

  1. i don't think that what you eat is going to help.

    but i dance as well and you should just do the ones your teacher does in class

    it ultimately depends on where you want to get more flexible


  2. well what you eat doesn't make you more flexible but it can make you fatter which will lead to not been so flexible so DO watch what you eat. You don't need to be on a diet but make sure you eat healthy.

    To be more flexible you can do "flexibility exercises" which you can find many online pages that will teach you "how to's", other thing I think that help you is yoga, I don't do it but I've seen how flexible people is when they do yoga so i think it can help you too.

    And don't worry the same way you learn new steps (for a dance) your body will learn how to be more flexible, it just takes a little bit. Flexibility DOESN'T happen over night lol.

  3. Make sure you do full body stretches every day, preferably after you are warmed up. Because when you're not warmed up it's like breaking a stick when it's dry compared to breaking a wet stick. Good Luck
