  1. If you can find it there's a really good book called How to go on Living when Someone You Love Dies. It really helped me a lot when my best friend was murdered by her husband. It talks about grief and the process of grief but it never tries to tell you how you should feel or when. You will never completely stop grieving your loss, but eventually you remember the good times more often than the pain of loss, and it gets better.

  2. i am reading" letting go "and its helping me. the pain can be unbearable but if i dont abuse substances, it seems to diminish briefly.feels like birth pain ,but they are death pains and the pain will subside with time and journal/walking/sleeping/meds/friends

  3. It depends on who you might be grieving for. parents are very different from siblings. as are cousins, uncles & aunties.

  4. You grieve in your own way. woman cry, men hold it in ( until it bursts out). Some have even been known to laugh at the person / thing and don't know why. It may be an idea to get a book and read about another persons experience.

  5. they say it takes an average of 1 year to go through the greiving process. talk to someone who is close to you and someone you can trust.
