How do i make bitlord faster?

I use a modem if that helps i want to get it past 100kbs speed tests say that i can get lke 600 but i dont think i ever will. Can anyone help me?

if you want your movies or whatever to download faster, then just download movies that have more seeds....

Bitlord is not the best client to have.  It is based upon an old buggy Bitcomet and is banned at all private trackers.

You might want to read this review of bittorrent clients.  There are also links to guides for proper setup for best speed in each of the suggested clients.

Also make sure whether the speed tests you are taking are showing speeds in KiloBits (kb) or KiloBytes (kB) as 8kb = 1kB.

Many speed tests show speeds in KiloBits and if the result is 600kb = 75kB as bittorrent clients show speeds in KiloBytes
