How do i save money?

okay right now i'm pretty young , i'm 22 right now.. and i'm still searching for a job right now , also with being a college student

it's hard for me to save money.. and i was wondering if there's any hints or tips that i can use?

Lucky you, someone wrote a book about just that!

It's called the Automatic Millionaire by David Bach. It's the get rich slow method that starts by saving even small amounts every day. Bach calls this his "Latte Factor", meaning that if you can afford a latte every day, you just found 5 bucks a DAY you could be saving.

Open up a savings account. I am at the same age as you and I bank with Wachovia. I have a Way2Say account, which every time I use my debit card it takes a dollar from checking and puts it into savings. This account also pays 5%. I also have an automated amount of money moved from checking to savings every month. I've done this for about 4 months and I have $400 dollars in savings.

The best idea is savings in sense where you don't notice how much your saving. Best of luck.
