How do i shrink a jumper of half cotton half polyester?

hot wash at 90? then tumble dry? my dryer has no heat setting just a timer :S

That sounds alright, so you have answered your own question, just put it on a hot wash, but be aware that it may go very wrinkly, and will need a lot of ironing to get the creases out again.
