I can give you a few techniques, but since you don't say what the dreams are about...I need more information.  Many nightmares (not all) are driven by stress and emotion leftover from our waking lives.  They can often (not always) be a sign that we need to deal with something we are avoiding.  As I said, to be more helpful and accurate, I would need more details.

  6. Try going to bed earlier, if you like to stay up late. Avoid late snacks, or caffeine. Think comforting thoughts or even watch some cheap sitcoms before sleeping. Sleep with the lights on? Something's causing the nightmares, and if it isn't obvious you should be worried about fixing that up rather than the night terrors. If it's really serious, see a doctor/therapist.

  7. nightmares can mean many things. you could be guilty about something. you may have gone through a bad experience. could even have somesort of issue going on in your life.or if you're into this then your dreams might even mean something. people often will think that something in a dream may mean something about your future.

    in my opinion, you should just try to clear your head if not your life, before you go to sleep. if you're the sort of person who's restless at night then either make yourself super tired or think happy!
