How do i use google earth?

I dont know how to use google earth. There isnt a place to type in what you want to look up! How do i get that up? and just how do i use google earth! and can i just use it off the internet or do i have to install it?

okay you see that typing bar,well type a place in it and it will find it! simple and quick! oh and there is a fun airplane simulater open it by pressing Ctrl Alt A at the same time and yeah free install just type in at google web "google earth installment"
