How do retailers and companies that sell to them handle all the returned products

whereby customers claim something is wrong just because they didnt like the product

  1. I know that K-Mart / Sears has a central return center they send the returns to and i think they sell them by the pallet but you never know whats in them until after you buy them the way i understand it, some may work fine and some may be really broken.


  2. That's part of the cost of doing business.  They call it consumer protection program.  Manufacturers and retailers just have to keep on improving the quality of their products and also their customer service to at least lessen sales returns.
