I went to the orthodontist to make retainers,he then made a mold of my upper teeth.Does making the Invisalign involves making mold or is it just for regular wired retainers? How do they make wired retainers then?Is it the same like making braces?

  1. For a good explanation of how it is made, you can go on the Invisalign website. Both my daughter and husband have invisalign retainers. They are plastic, and fit over the teeth, unlike wired retainers, that fit around the front, held by a piece of formed plastic that fits over the roof of your mouth. In my family, they prefer the invisalign because it works like a dental guard, and is comfortable.

  2. Its long process and need to be done with perfection, after all its all about a beautiful smile. First they will check if you are qualified for invisalign, than only they will make your plaster molds. There is second ,third and lots of process involve in the making of invisalign, use this link and read the article over there it will be of certain help. Thanks
