How do we post pics here?

i have some pics of my cat sleeping in a funny way, and i just want to ask a question. but when i try to copy paste it, it wont do it.

you can only post the URL from another website you can't upload photos directly to Yahoo answers Questions.

You need to have your photo on any online site below are some you can use among many.

Then copy the url link and paste it to your question. I recommend you use flickr as its part of yahoo so you’re less likely to have any problems with the link.

To use flickr click on the photo then click "all size" (above the photo) choose the size you want to use then click "grab the url" under the photo and right click and paste it in your question/answer as the link below.

You have to have an account on image hosting websites that allows you to upload pictures and get links. You can register on any of these sites but I would recommend you Flickr.

1) Go to:

2)Sign in using your Yahoo! id and password.

3) Upload your photo.

4) After you have finished uploading and saving the picture, click on the picture for a full view.

5) Copy the Url link of the picture from your browser bar and paste it with the question.

4. After your picture is uploaded, click on the picture, it will take you to another page.

6.Copy the "Direct" link and paste it with the question.

3) In the right side of the screen, you will be able to see a place where you can upload pictures. You can upload 3 pictures at once. Browse the picture you want to upload from your computer's folder and hit the "Save " button.

7) Copy "Direct link" and paste it with the question.

You can't. Yahoo Answers is a text-based question & answer forum that does not support photographs or html functions.

And even if you post a link to your photographs at a website which hosts photos, a photograph of your cat sleeping in a funny way would be considered "chatting", which is a reportable offense.
