  1. Why not just talk to you parents?

  2. Most blocking software that doesn't cost money can be easily disabled..

besides, what is the point to getting him back?

  3. Better than blocking them, redirect them.

Copy the following text into notepad.exe by going to START >RUN and typing notepad.exe in at the run command line.

    Copy below here

    # Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.

    #

    # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

    #

    # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each

    # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

    # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.

    # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one

    # space.

    #

    # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual

    # lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.

    #

    # For example:

    #

    #      102.54.94.97     rhino.acme.com          # source server

    #       38.25.63.10     x.acme.com              # x client host

    127.0.0.1       localhost

    123.456.244.1 www.google.com

_Stop copying at the text above___________________________

Substitute the name of his favorite site for local host or www.google.com. Add as many lines as you like.

In the above example when he tries to go to google, it will not go cause the number is made up. You can also put in the ip address of legitimate sites and the host name of his fav sites and when he types in his site, it will go somewhere else. Save this file  with the filename HOSTS  (no extension) in the directory C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\   or it might be C:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\ , depending on your system, (I assume you are using windows)

To fix the mess you create, delete the file.

You can find the various addresses of sites by going to http://www.zoneedit.com/lookup.html and typing in the name of the website in the DNS box.
