Its illegal to do so in most countries, including the USA. I only know of a few religious groups following VERY old practices that still perform them.You would need to find a doctor of the middle east, India or Indonesian areas who still practices EXTREMELY old ways to have one performed.

As far as I know its not actually that dangerous to have one done on a female if performed correctly in sterile environment, and if its your body, go right ahead. You have the right to disfigure your self in that manor if you so choose. But DON'T make that choice for ANYONE ELSE.

If you want to completely stunt your senses of pleasure derived from sexual acts, that's your choice. Don't expect anyone else in the WORLD to think you are right though.

You get a dull, rusty knife, and you have the girl held down (usually by a family member) while a bush-doctor carves away most or all of her labia minora and/or labia majora and often her clitoris as well.  You then take filthy thread and a rusty needle or thorns from a local bush and seal the roughly severed edges of what's left of her labia together, leaving only a small passage for urine and menstruation.

Why don't you do a little research on female circumcision or female genital mutilation -- which is a FAR more appropriate term -- and find out for yourself how BARBARIC a practice it really is and why it should be banned worldwide!

Female circumcision is genital mutilation, just as male circumcision is.

Female circumcision removes the clitoral hood, which is analagous to the male f******n, and sometimes other portions of the labia.

In some cases, part or all of the clitoris is also amputated.

This practice is done in some primitive cultures (sometimes Moslem) to remove the pleasure from s*x, thus "insuring" female fidelity.

It is cruel and unnatural, just as male genital mutilation is.

It damages, scars and mutilates the gnitals; just as male circumcision does.

It could be argued to be cleaner, just as male circumcision, as some of the crevices of the labia are removed, and the clitoral hood.

There would be less smegma--yes, women produce it, too.

In short all of the trumped-up lies that are used to perpetrate male genital mutilation can be used to lie about female genital mutilation, also.

Both are wrong.    Both are mutilation.    Both damage and scar the body permanently.     Both are perverse and cruel.

Genital integrity is a basic human right.    Noone has the right to mutilate infant's genitals.
