How do you cook chicken wings?

i know to use the oven now but do i put them on a tray or in a dish of water?? sorry im completely hopeless cook!!

  1. There are lots of ways to cook chicken wings.  You can put them under the grill in the oven. Or you can bake them on a tray in the oven.  Don't put them in water.

    Try marinating them:  Put a tablespoon of honey in a bowl add a teaspoon of crushed garlic and a tablespoon of Soya sauce. Mix together well and then cover your chicken wings in the marinade. Then put on tray and grill or bake.

    Another really easy marinade is by just covering your chicken wings in sweet chilli sauce, or brbecue sauce. Or what ever is your favourite sauce and then grill them in the oven. Yummy try it and be adventurous.


  2. I marinate in equal parts Kikomans Soy Sauce and cooking sherry. Then bake them in the oven At 350 twenty minutes flip twenty minutes and flip another 20 minutes and take them out. Being mindful about which side you want facing up at last twenty minutes of cooking. That is the position youl be arranging them on tray. I like to marinate them overnight.

  3. Season them, the deep frying them is the best.

    1. Put in oven on flat cookie sheet at 350* for 45 min turning once during that time.

    2. Fry them either in pan on burners or in pot.

    3. Cook on a grill using BBQ sauce

    BBQ Party Wings

    Ingredients:

    • 2 pounds Chicken Wings (folded)

    • 1 Bottle Demon Pig BBQ Sauce

    • Demon Pig BBQ Rub

    • Spray Margarine

    Directions:

    Rinse and dry wings, folding and locking tip. Spray wings with pump spray margarine and coat with Demon Pig BBQ Rub. Bake on sheet pan 45 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven. Remove to crock pot or covered baking dish. Coat with Demon Pig BBQ Sauce and cook for one hour on high. Reduce to low, stir and serve. To finish in conventional oven - bake at 350 degrees, when covered and sauced. Reduce heat to 250 to finish.

    Notes: Any flavor of Demon Pig Sauce works with this recipe. Blaze Orange is my favorite.


  6. put a little bit of soy sauce, oil and honey together then dip the chicken wings in it. then cook them in the oven for half an hour at 200 degrees.

  7. I bake them at 350F for about 50 minutes. Stick the tip of a sharp knife in the largest wing and, if you don't see any blood trickling out, they're done.

  8. I prefer to deep fry mine 20 min. at 350 degrees. But in the oven I would put them on a baking sheet and brush with vegetable oil then cook at probably 350 degrees.

If you just are making plain chicken wings, lay them out on a large cookie baking sheet...they can touch, but in a single layer...sprinkle with some lemon pepper (if you like that flavor) or some garlic powder and salt and pepper; could also squeeze a lemon over them; Bake in 375 degree oven, middle rack, for about 1 hour....that should have them falling off the bone which is how I like them....If you want to go a little further and make a kind of BBQ wing: 2-3 doz chicken wings separated ; 2/3 cup soy sauce; 4 cloves garlic mashed and minced; 2/3 cup dark brown sugar, packed; 2 teaspoons mustard powder, dry; Mix marinade ingredients together, use a whisk if you have it; Layer the wings in single layer in shallow pan, spoon marinade over them; cover with aluminum foil; marinate in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes; Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, remove cover and bake for 1/2 hour more. They are the best!!!
