How do you crack your hand?

my friend told me her sister 'cracks her hand' to get rid of writer's cramp, how would i go about doing this? any ideas?

You don't.  Try massage, it will work much better for a cramp or heat..

I crack my wrists al lthe time to relieve built up pressure. I just put my hand flat out, then move it down like im at the end of a wave, and push down until it cracks. Usually Itll crack before my fingers can touch the underside of my arm. Best feeling around.
