  1. Do not flush them.

Our lakes and rivers are being tainted with drugs because people flush them and the wastewater treatment plant can't remove them from the water.

The link you provide explains how to dispose of your meds.  Did you not read through the whole article?

    Take them to a pharmacy.

  2. I would just keep it around not get rid of it

  3. take them back to the pharmacy. Flushing them in the toilet is bad since it gets into the eco system and also gets back into our tab water which can lead to lots of side effects.

The pill for example lead increased the amount of infertile people because people get in contact with it even though they don't take the bc pill. Same with penicillin. A lot of people get resistant to it even though they never took it before.

So please take it back to the pharmacy.

  4. Take them to your local drug store.

  5. Best method would be to check with your pharmacy ... they should have a drug recycling program in place if they are conscious of the environment ...

    Good luck ...
