How do you edit......?

how do you edit a video that is too big. The other day i recorded a video on my camera, but when i tried to upload it to YouTube the video size was to big. Is there any easy way to reduce the size of the video wihout buying any special programs? please any help would be good

have u tried Windows Movie Maker?  Try to save the file as a different type.  ex:mpeg, mov, etc.......

Also, try downloading a free video converter.  It'll convert files to smaller formats.

MovieMaker in Windows and iMovie in Macintosh computers allow you to actually edit the video so it is less than 10 minutes - or compress the video so it is less than 100 meg... these are the time and space limitations of YouTube... and save that edited compressed video in a file format they accept (like .avi, .mov or .mp4).
