How do you face your fears??

Question

I have an *AWFUL* toothache but just the mention of a 'dentist' makes me run a mile!!

How can I stop being such a scaredy cat??

Omg! I have the same exact fear! I have that kind of fear in dentists and doctors the most! Just one thought of needles freak me out! Ok now to help you. I overcame my dentist fears a bit and here's how:

Just think about something else like your loved ones or a video game you like, etc. It distracts the mind. Or if the reason why you fear it is because of the pain, ask them for more anethetics.

put ur trust in Allah coz ultimatley it is only Allah that will help u overcome ur fear..la hawla wa la quwwata illah billah - there is no power or might except by the permission of Allah.

Fear the fear & have courage. Anyways when it comes to toothache, the only solution is to make one's way to the dentist;-) No other options are available;-p

paint a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii... S on your chest and tell your self that you r Superwoman 100 times for three days..and all your fears will go away.

sometimes its fun to be scared.  I dont get over my fear before facing it per se but i go through it in hopes of getting over it :D...ii think ; |

umm unfortunately, i'm a scaredy cat too :'(

But i face them by just knowing that i'll get it over and done with quickly. :P
