How do you get discovered?

I know everyone is asking this but mine is a little different.

I don't have enough money to move or anything, and there are no singing opportunities in my community.

Well its all about how you advertise yourself, there's not a whole lot of pop star producers hanging out in the Astronomy section, you'd want to go over to the music section. Just like if you were to put on a little concert in your garage you could make posters of it, but you would want to put them on the bulletin board in your school where everyone would see it. you wouldn't go put it in the lunch lady kitchen behind the oven would you?
