can you register your new car from a different address then what is on your license?

How long do you have to tell your insurance co. that you bought a new car??

Do it now.. Most give you 30 days but now is the best time to notify

I think you can register it from any address...but u should tell the insurance company that u bought a new car very soon...I don't know where u are but where i live u can't have a car without insurance

Most insurance companies give you thirty days to notify. HOWEVER, in the event of an accident of theft, they WILL ONLY COVER THE CAR with LIKE-Coverages. This means, If you have a car on the policy that only has Liability, liability is all that is covered. No theft or collison is covered in that event. This can be bad if you are paying a loan on the car.

If you've traded a veh with comp/collision, then the thirty days, depending on your company, is firm.
