How do you make monkey noises??

Question

I was cast as the part of a flying monkey in the wizard of oz and i have everything down (including the flying in the harness!!) EXCEPT for the monkey noises. How do i do it?? Like what part of my throat do i use and stuff? I've tried but i can't do it. I just need help.

Use the back of your mouth, right before you reach the throat. Try to keep it back there while bring it to the front. If that makes any sense. Make an ooo sound like in boo but with a higher pitch. Then make an ahh sound like in the word font. Make it all at a higher pitch then your regular voice. And there you go! Ooo Ooo Ahh Ahh!
