I was curious if anyone could give me step by step instructions on how to make a roller shade.

  1. Measure window.  

    Go to store.  

    Buy roller shade, have cut to size.

    Go home, install.  

    Pull shade down, pull and release to roll back up.  

    Pat self on back, have party with friends to show off handiwork.
