  1. For the most part, I don't profile people, not unless if they outwardly are prejudiced (they say so or show it through attire/affiliation or symbols- i.e. the confederate flag or swastika) or if make a VERY generalized statements about certain groups of people who have done NO harm to them.

Other than what I mentioned above, I don't profile, because I think it borderline's racism/social inequality. Profiling just seems a bit inhumane to me.

Instead, I tend to read people a lot. I judge them based on actions and sometimes, I listen to my hunches in certain circumstances, especially when I subconsciously pick up on certain cues they give off. I think non-verbal communication is also very key when listening to our gut instinct. We can tell when someone's being deceitful, unfriendly, or truly kind and sincere.

Most of all, what works BEST for me is to listen to the little things people say or do, especially what they say because it reveals a WHOLE LOT about who they truly are at heart, their values and their backgrounds. I'm pretty good at reading people. Most times, I'm pretty dead accurate, especially when I get a strong feeling about what they say and HOW they say it.

Like I often say, "It's the little things that people say or do that mean A LOT. It's not the big showy things they do to show they care or who they truly are (b/c they can easily put up a front).. it's the little things that matter MOST."
