How do you put a ringtone?

Ok,

Well I recently got a LG Shine.

And is there away to put my own music on it as a ring tone without buying them because I heard Telus put a block or something? I'm currently with rogers but if you can help that would be great! Thanks! ♥

Btw. I tried moving it to Ring tones and stuff but it never says set as.

    that site works on rogers..and its free

    its where i get all my ringtones
