I really just want to save them so I can eat them later...like peaches. Except I freeze peaches and I don't think that I've ever heard of anyone freezing figs. I looked up how you would can them and it's all under "preserving" and always calls for so much sugar. Usually a cup of sugar per cup of figs. Is there any way to save them for later without using all that sugar?
