People who are taller than you and so they point it out and act all aroggant and full of themselves just because their taller. When someone said that to me and my friends we just acted as if she didnt say anything and got a drank of water from the fountain. What did that show her and what should i do or say next time

  1. i'm really short, and i just make a joke out of it. if you joke about it, they'll feel dumb for trying to make fun of you about something you're already secure enough about to make fun of yourself about.

  2. I'm short, 5'1", and people are constantly telling me I'm short like i don't already know. I just give them, "Are you dumb?" look and ask them what their point is. It usually makes them feel dumb for pointing out something so painfully obvious and shows them that the comment wasn't having the desired effect (to make me feel bad about it or get defensive).

  3. I would ignore the person too. I'm around average height and I've never really had that problem but if I came across someone like that, I would give them a dirty look and walk away.

  4. Yeah I would have ignored it as well.  People who need to point out other people's failing normally have big personal hang ups so a few well placed comments can at times put them in there place.

    How many doorframes did you have to walk into to look that ugly?  Ok a bit corny I'll admit

    How about;

    "Did yea think of that all yourself? pause (look at them then yourself) 'clever boy (girl)!'

    Sarcasm and Irony work best but again you probably did the best thing by ignoring them.  Really by not reacting you did exactly what they didn't want you to do.  Best thing is to let them know you're not afraid, never deviate from what your doing, smile at them and go on your merry way.

    Or you could ask 'Just out of curiosity, what's it like having parents who are siblings?'
