  1. A cloud becomes charged and this causes a potential difference (voltage) to be created in the cloud. When this becomes big enough the electricity will ionise the air maening that it is able to flow through it to the ground thus releasing the potential difference to the ground and uncharging the cloud.

    Hope that helps!

  2. when you put on the light in your home

light travel every wear in the house-within the air,

Air is every wear around the Earth- so sound come before lighting

    on the earth----

so light travel within the air

  3. A cloud-to-ground lightning strike begins as an invisible channel of electrically charged air moving from the cloud toward the ground. When one channel nears an object on the ground, a powerful surge of electricity from the ground moves upward to the cloud and produces the visible lightning strike!
