How does a fetish develop?

I had a foot fetish since i was like 11 and i dont even know how they started. When i was like 6 i thought all feet were disgusting.

Something happend to you at that age that was pleasurable and you connected it to feet.  Therefore, a fetish developed.  You won't know what it was, except maybe through therapy.
