How does an ouija board work?

The planchette (moveable piece that you put your hand on) moves around and selects letters (or the words "yes" and "no") as a result of people's unconcious hand movements.  It works because of subconcious muscle movement known as the ideometer effect.  If the board really was dangerous, Parker Brothers wouldn't have been allowed to sell it for so many years.  Notice that no one has successfully sued them.

People have differing opinions about how they work.  Some believe that the people using the board make it work.  Others believe that evil powers or spirits make it work.  In any case, many people believe it is a scary and dangerous thing to do as it invites evil into your life.

yes it works. it calls spirits. you can chat with her/him. but finish it properly because if you don't finish the ouija properly, the spirit/ghost you called will follow you wherever you go.

in my experience, no. It's a cursor on felt pads that slides around to spell out stuff. people move it either on purpose or subconciously or reflexively. it's probably just a game. . . but why s***w with things you really can't understand? Plus, if Jesus is real he might be disappointed with you.

you have 2 people and a board with the alphabet, numbers 1 to 10, yes and no.. and call upon a spirit who you talk to it answers the questions , it can have drastic consequences to some, don't use them they can follow you around for the rest of your life creating it h**l!!

Your subconcious mind spells words that may or may not make any sense when you and a friend use a ouija board.  Nothing wierd happens.  I once used it with my cousin and nothing bad happened to me or her.
