How does bidnapper work?

I just asked a question about ebay. In a comment it mentioned bidnapper. How does it really work? Do I have to set it at an exact time a bid ends? Just tell me all you know about it.

Usually, these systems make a bid for the full amount that you tell them a few seconds before the auction ends.

In some of them, you have to enter the ending time of the auction.  Certainly, you'll have to give them the name of the auction site and the item number.
