How does blogging work?

Question

Im new to blogging, hubpages, google adsense, ect. I have written some content and was wondering how the payment happens... as in.. how many times do I have to have views in order to get paid? Does it work in clicks? Or does it matter if My page gets viewed? Is it 100 clicks equals 1 dollar? Or do they have to click on the ads?

id stay away from hubpages they take away 50% of the profits.  Better would be to use http://www.bustablog.com

Google adsense pays you for click and views also.

DON'T CLICK YOUR OWN ADS.

You will get suspended when google knows this.

In hubpages, they share googles ads with you, 60%. ie your ads will come in pages created by you. you get paid by google when someone clicks your ads and your ads will come up 60% of time and hubpages ads will come up 40 % of time.

Googles ads are not like Paid to click ads (PTC) . All ads have different rates and changes also.

I have got $1.29 from a single click from adsense and a least of $0.03 also. On an average i have got 25 cents.

you don't get paid for people to view your pages/blog.

adsense and click advertising is where you pay google/yahoo per page clicks you get from links from their search engines ads.

it would be nice if they pay you... but you actually pay them.
