How does he tell his friends?

My little brother was sexually abused. The person who abused him just got released from prison and my brother is dealing well with it. My brother is going into 10th grade and does not know if he should tell his friends or not. What should he do? and if he should tell them, how does he say it?

He needs to talk to a therapist to deal with the abuser getting out of prison. But he doesn't need to tell his friends. That would rob him of the life he has now. (life without the abuse)

He should tell his therapist that he's thinking of telling his friends about his sexual abuse. And see what the therapist says about it.

Why would he tell his friends its really none of their business.
