How does overdrawing work??

It said that i was overdrawn by 8.50 and so i transferred 9 into the account and i think its fine, but will it still count as overdrawing. Its a Bank of America checking/savings account.

  1. You will probably be charged an additional 25-39 dollar overdraft fee wich as stated earlier will make the account overdrawn again unless you make a good deposit.  Your account may also be closed.

    You can always call and ask that the overdraft fee be removed if this is your first offense you might get that done.  Remember the fee is not their fault but yours so be really nice to whomever you talk with.

  2. Yes, it will count as an overdraw.  Additionally, you will get hit with a penalty which will overdraw your account again.  You need to put a lot more money in your account.
