Living in the UK, How much does the average family spend on a child from ages of 0-18? (in £)

I would like to know, because i want to pay it to my parents(one day).

  1. i would guess it's between 100-200,000 pounds more for the rich and less for the poor of course but avaerage would be in that range. why do you want to pay it back? gratitude or spite?


  2. Roughly $5000 per year to cover all costs.  (Food, Clothes, Doctor, Dentist,and Misc.)

The family next door to me have a daughter, her dad has older kids, all boys, so he really spoils this one, considering shes the youngest and all that and the daddys girl and he recently bought her a real pair of genuine diamond earrings and a st bernard puppy for her birthday (let me add that she's just turned 5 !!!!!) Shocking.

  5. about 280,000 i hope when my 3 boys grow up they do the same no not really it is a joy to have them how nice are you to do that good on you

  6. I heard in a news article a couple of years ago that it costs about 18,000 for just the necesities...but with the raising prices and materialism in the world today i am sure it is higher now
