looking for acceleration times, horsepower/kilowatt output, torque specs. I can't seem to find out how fast these MotoGP really go. The only thing i could find was Ducati 2006 specs http://www.gizmag.com/go/5068/picture/19089/ but no acceleration times were listed.

  1. There is no set times.

There are so many changes that the modern race bikes can have made to them.

Power out put, gear ratio's , final drive etc. Even the size of the wheels will make a massive difference.

This year we saw towards the end of the racing the 16" rears coming in, rather then the 16.5" or the 17" of only a few years back.

    At a [ rough ] guess a MotoGP bike could go from 0 - 60 in @ 2.2 / 2.5 seconds and 0 - 100 mph in @ 3.2 / 3.3 seconds.

Like I say, this is only a rough guess.

  2. For a rough guess.. I would say wiggysan is spot on. very accurate.  On thesame subject I would like to know lap times between F! cars and GP bikes on the same circuit. Canceling out acceleration and corner speed. I can only think of montreal. and thats no longer relevent.

  3. Fast as h**l.  Bone stock 1000's run the 1/4 in the 9.9x range.  And those bikes aren't even close to a race prepped GP bike.

  4. go question...what i know moto-gp bikes go as fast as 220-230 mph and HP within the 200 range  my estimated guess....
