How good is Aiden McGeady?

The wee man was magic tonight in the 3-1 win against Feyenoord. His mazy runs were a joy to behold and I think McGeady will get even better this season. I am so glad he signed the new contract and the price put on his head should scare off prospective buyers.

We need to unearth more like him because it would cost more than we can afford to buy his talent.

Aye he done well, stood out like a sore thumb. Feyenoords defence was a shambles but I suppose you can only play against whats infront of you.

  If that wee boy that came on and played on the left is whats coming through the youth ranks at Parkhead then Celtic fans should be getting worried!

  Whats his name McGowan? Is that the same ugly bloke that tried to play for Morton a couple of year ago, he could be Celtic's answer to Charlie Adam, looks and football ability....

tremendous oracle. i think de cler was delighted to be substituted as aiden ran him ragged. should be an even bigger season from the wee man this season. great first half performance and I loved the formation. scott brown was also excellent. lucky to walk away from that shocking van bronkhorst tackle

He's probably the best of a real dearth of young talent in Scotland at the moment. Too bad he chose to play for another country. Another nail in Scottish football's coffin I'm afraid.

McGreedy has to learn that he is part of a team before I'll take to him - anyone with a bit of footballing acumen can show-off the way he does.

Maybe he'll do it in Europe. But Celtic seriously need a playmaker like McStay, Moravcik -- even a veteran. Top teams can double-team on McGeady and there's not much else to hurt them. Wish there was!
