it is very hot. The sun really burns. But it is humid, and if you take care you should have a good time.

December is a good time to go, it is a little less hot.

In the late Spring through October usually quite hot (high 80's to 90's) but it's the high humidity along with the heat that makes it very uncomfortable.  Fall and winter are very comfortable, tho.  We're usually there in Jan - Feb., rarely hotter than mid-80's and there is very little humidity....perfect.  (I could be off by a few degrees as I don't "watch" the weather when I'm there - just know it feels really good!)  

Have been there a couple times in November - it was pretty hot, but the humidity wasn't bad.

The ocean isn't very warm in the winter, but still swimmable.
