  1. Learn how to spell it?

Sorry, I am in a sarcastic mood. My bad - no idea. Sorry.

  2. Bla Bla is correct, she has alot of information stated.

My husband and son are duel citizens of the USA and of Hungary.

We visit there often and plan on retireing there in two years. I will look into that myself when I am ready to stay there.

For me it should be very easy to get a resident permit then if I chose to, get citizenship.Because I am married to a citizen.

We can also get jobs in other EU countries if we wanted to but not looking into that at the moment, hope to just retire for good.

  3. Citizenship is dependant on the country - there is no such thing as a "Europe" passport

Each country has it's own laws and agreements on nationality and naturalisation

Generally though in order to obtain the nationality of a European country, you must be either

    (a) have a direct family link e.g. a parent holding a passport

    (b) marry a person from that country (but this is not always a right) and then obtain a visa to live there, and after a set time - anywhere from 5 years minimum you can apply (having certain things such as fluency in the local language)

    (c) reside in a country for x years.  Firstly of course you must obtain a visa which entitles you to live and work there.  I saw your other question, and a study visa does not count.  This is a temporary visa which holds no entitlement to live, work or settle permanently

Immigration laws are very tight, and naturalisation even tighter in the wake of the last 5-10 years with massive movements and influxes of immigration in Europe.

There is no one rule even within the EU.  Therefore you would be smart to check out the laws for specific countries and not a continent on the whole
