Question:

How is Tennessee?????

Considering moving to Tennessee, possibly around Knoxville because I love the mountains. I just want to know if there are any people who have lived there and wish to share their opinions on how TN is. I'm open to recommendations for specific neighborhoods or cities.

Also, are there a lot of natural disasters?

  1. My parents moved to Greeneville,TN. It's about 70 mile northeast of Knoxville. They love it there. They are near the mountains and have great views. It is hot and sticky in the summer but the winters are very mild. (compared to CT, where they're from). There is a very low probability of natural disasters, one reason the picked TN. The mountains cut down on the tornadoes and block most of the hurricanes. The one problem they do get is occasional ice storms. The people are friendly. The one drawback is in smaller towns there aren't enough employment opportunities. Nearer to the cities you won't have that problem.

  2. Tennessee has beautiful old homes with lots of character and lovely views. However, during the summer it does become quite humid. Other than that it's a beautiful place to live. I hope you like it there.

  3. everyone is moving to tennesee but anyway it is nice but i dont know if id want to live their id much rather chill here in Florida
