How is biking good for you?

I bike everywhere to get places, due to me not having a car, and gas prices are too high anyway, plus there's less traffic. Anyhow, thet's not the point, what I was wondering though are what are the physical benefits I get from biking everywhere? When I say benefits, i mean how is it good for one's body? I heard it strengthens legs, but what are some other positive results you can get from biking? I bike everywhere pretty much, so, yeah. What are the positive results your body can get from lots of biking???

  1. biking is really good cardio.

    you can loose a lot of weight and burn calories from it

    also, biking builds your endurance


  2. i do road biking. riding a bike is good exercise. it helps you lose weight and build muscle endurance and strength. very good and enjoyable exercise.

  3. Mostly heart, lungs, legs - but a lot of everything else, too. You must be a machine by now.
