How is chemistry accurate?

Why should we believe that there is really an atom, elements, carbon, 12 hydrogens etc.? What proof can we see the proves chemistry and all its findings are accurate?

    I don't know anything about chemistry i wasted my 2 years of high school

    in chemistry subjects

    it annoys me

    i hate this subject

    i got 4 out of 70 in exams of chemistry many times

    12 out of 100 in chemistry in 12 grade

  3. if it all was wrong, how could one develop certain complicated substances ? how could you create a substance that has all the qualities you want it to have ? this would be impossible if all the assumptions were wrong.

    good scientists can PREDICT which qualities a new substance could have if they created it.

    you can't predict anything without having any right ideas about how it works in general.

  5. If your speaking about atoms, i believe that the specific weights have been confirmed with the use of electron microscopes.  As for before these microscopes were developed, I'm not sure.
