If you think of them as more of a story that you're telling, it will help. Also, there may be certain patterns you can find to help you.

For example in Josh Groban's " Don't Give Up (You Are Loved). "When your heart's heavy, I will LIFT it for you..." Don't give up

In other words there is a weight section, a sound section, a light section,etc.

Its like everything else in life. People are able to memorize things if you do them enough. It's no different than any musician. Enough practice and you can memorize anything, including lyrics, although ten isn't that many, but its a good place to start.

Singers and performers have this talent, they are able to memorize the lyrics. It is because they work good under pressure and they just practice the songs again and again until they don't have to look at the lyrics anymore.
