How is this cichlid community?

• 2 Congo Tetra

• 2 Blue rams

• 2 Dwarf gouramis

• 2 Convict cichlids

• 2 Veil tail angels

• 1 Black ghost knife fish

• 4 Black ruby barbs

• 2 Peppered cory cats

• 2 Albino cory Cats

• 4 Otos

• 9 Harlequin rasboras

In a 50 - 80 gallon tank... Any suggestions? and any caring techniques/suggestions?

A couple things I wanted to add in.

1.  Boost the Tetra's up to about 8-10, you have enough room.

2.  Make sure if you get Convicts, they are female/female.  A mating pair would effectively wipe out this community and over run you with Convicts in the tank.

3.  Pass on the Ghost Knife.  It would prey on your community fish.

Another option you have here in place of Convicts are Blue Acara.  Very peaceful, decent looking, and a better fit for this community.  If you really insist on Convicts, just make sure it's a pair of females.

I think your second listing is outstanding and you would enjoy that very much.  If you really feel like adding more, feel free to add cories to there.
