How long is practice?

Question

I work, but i want to play basketball. And last year the times were weird, and we played in many different places, cause it was jr high.

How long does a bball practice last. The JV/varsity practice together, so how long would practice be.

1 hour of drills/plays and an hour for scrimmage time...

Most likely it will vary, but this is just a guess.

well, it really depends what you're practicing. if you are with your team and working on a play i'd say run it over and over until you perfect it. If you are shooting around on your own, work on your technique. if that's 100% right. challenge yourself. play a gaame called "+ 1, -2" basically, run from one side of the free throw line to the other back and forth and make as many as you can. every shot you make you get + 1 and for every shot you miss -2. try and get to +7. if you get -7 or lower you lose. it doesn't just have to be from both ends of the free throw line. it can be anywhere on the court.

i hav practice twice a week and a game once a week. (sometimes twice). my practises are from 2:15-3:45 and 3:30-5:10.

umm... in my minor basketball league practice was 1 hour long.

Ours lasted 4 hours. 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. In the morning practices, it was 5 A.M. to 8 A.M. Yep, our practices were rough.
