  1. The question is meaningless. The ampere is a measure of electrical current. The kilowatt is a measure of electrical power. It would be like asking how many hours there were in gallon.

    However..

    If you know the Potential Difference (Voltage) in the circuit then you can find the current using the formula:

    I = P/V  (where I is current, P is power and V is potential difference)

    which in your case would be I = 1000/V
