  1. You ask: How many different TYPES of atoms are there in (NH4)2SO4.

The exact answer to this question is that there are 4 types of atoms:

    Nitrogen N, Hydrogen,H Sulphur S and Oxygen O.

If you want to know how many atoms there are, then as above, the answewr is 15 atoms.

  2. Norrie said what I was going to. I think that's right.

  3. Johnny was a chemist,

    But Johnny is no more.

    What Johnny thought was H2O

    Was (NH4)2SO4.

    Nah... doesn't flow right.

  4. N = 2, H = 8, S = 1 and O = 4 = 15 atoms in the molecule.

(NH4)2 ..the '2' is a subscript indicating that everything in the brackets is times 2.

    ((2 x N); + (2 x 4H); + (1 x S); + (4 x O) = 15 total).
