  1. Actually, I think that they can definitely be interesting fish when given space. I take back what I said before because I am going out to get some bettas today. :) They will go in with some other community fish in atleast a 30gal tank. They're beautiful fish.


  2. I have one male named Phoebe and he is so cute and beautiful and he comes and looks at me when I'm in the room. Plus I had another one called Chandler but he died from a lack of heat witch made his metabolism bad so he did not eat.

I currently own 9 bettas.  I have 6 females in a 20 gallon, one male in a 10 gallon, one female in a one gallon aquarium (she's too aggressive for to be with my other girlies), and one male rescue also in a one gallon temporarily (he's being treated for finrot and will soon be in his own 10 gallon). lol  I've got five aquariums in my one bedroom apartment!

  6. I have 5 females in a 12 gallon and a male by himself.  I love them.  They have so much personality it isn't funny.  They dont "do anything"? what do you expect when you put them in a little cup?  My bettas are always zipping around the aquarium, they are always just so happy.

  7. I have one male and one female housed in separate one gallon tanks.

    I had baby betta fry but they are all grown and gone *sniff* I might do it again sometime, it was really fun, but ALOT of work raising those babies!

    i taught him to jump out of the water for food and he used to 'dance' whenever he would see me...
